Turkish Tales for Children

Join us for a monthly read-aloud and discussion series at the Sancar Turkish Cultural and Community Center (STCCC) for children ages K-3rd grade.

Group leaders will read English-translated short stories and folktales that teach elements of Turkish culture and history.

This month’s stories: “Good Neighbors” and “The Contest and the Candle” from a collection of Nasrettin Hoca Tales.

There will be an adult social space with Turkish tea provided for waiting parents.
