Thanks + Giving Food Truck Rodeo and Nonprofit Showcase

Aziz & Gwen Sancar Foundation (AGSF) will be participating in the “Thanks + Giving Food Truck Rodeo” organized by the Town of Chapel Hill.

Come visit with us to learn about our mission and taste Turkish Desserts.

In the season inspired by eating and giving, the Town of Chapel Hill is bringing the community together for a picnic. Grab a bite from local food trucks, hang out with awesome nonprofits, and donate to our food and toiletry drive!

Inter-Faith Council for Social Service will be collecting:

• Food items like tomato sauce, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned fruits, condensed soups, canned pinto beans, canned meats, boxes/bags of stuffing gravy, instant mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, grits, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, and baking mixes.
• Toiletries and household items like bar soap, body wash, lotion, shampoo, baby diapers, and blankets (gently used or new)

PORCH will be collecting:

• Food items like low-sugar cereal, bags of rice, pasta sauce, cans of tuna and chicken, hearty soups, peanut butter, and healthy snacks, such as raisins or applesauce
