Cooking Class: Börek (spinach and feta cheese pastry) and Piyaz (traditional Turkish bean salad)

Piyaz (traditional Turkish bean salad) is one of the most popular appetizer/salads in Türkiye.  This refreshing white bean salad can be served in every season.

Börek (spinach and feta cheese pastry) one of Türkiye’s iconic snack or breakfast foods, is food for your soul. It dates back to the Ottomans, who spread it far and wide, since it was such a popular dish.

Ayşe, one of the most practical home chefs in the community, is returning to STCCC demo kitchen to teach another class filled with refreshing dishes.  Guests will have a chance to share tips and tricks while preparing spinach pastry and delightful appetizer.

Turkish tea will be served as well.
