An exhibit which highlights 100 Faces of Atatürk to memorialize him on the anniversary of his passing to eternity and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic.

The art is hand painted with coffee grounds by Micro Art Master Hasan Kale.

Turkish Coffee Tales of Anatolia

We invite you to join us at the screening of the “Turkish Coffee Tales of Anatolia” documentary which aims to increase the awareness of its historical importance of Turkish coffee, the world’s first coffee brewing method.

The documentary is composed of special shootings featuring “dibek coffee” in Mardin, “mirra coffee” in Şanlıurfa, “menengiç coffee” in Gaziantep, “saffron coffee” in Karabük, “coffee brewed on ash” in Nevşehir, “coffee brewed on sand” in Ankara, “mastic coffee” in Izmir and “traditional coffee” in Istanbul.

Complimentary Turkish coffee service will be available during exhibit hours.

About the micro artist:
Hasan Kale is a world-renowned micro artist master. Involved in painting since his early childhood, he began his career by drawing miniatures in Istanbul. One of Türkiye’s most famous and talented artists, Kale uses his miniature drawing talents for his paintings and tries to interpret miniature art with a contemporary eye.

He paints on things we see, are exposed to, or ignored in our daily lives, like rice grain, a nail, a silk cocoon, a needle, and a butterfly wing. By drawing and painting on micro-objects with exquisite detail, Kale opens a new window and perspective that builds up a new language in the art world.
