This documentary (with English subtitles) highlights a unique local initiative in the charming seaside town of Çeşme\, one of Türkiye’s top holiday destinations. \nSet against the backdrop of Türkiye’s beautiful Aegean region\, the documentary beautifully narrates the story behind the Academy of Gastronomy – an innovative educational institution established under the auspices of Ege University’s Faculty of Tourism in Çeşme. Brought to life with the joint support of Bridge to Türkiye Fund and Shipley Foundation\, the Academy offers a pioneering model of local development bridging education\, culinary arts\, entrepreneurship and agricultural production in the very heart of Türkiye’s tourism industry. \nAll event proceeds and donations will directly benefit BTF Empowerment Scholarships Program for girls affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye.\n \nPre-registration is required to attend the event –\n$20 per person\nRegister here. 🔗\nAll donations are welcome even if you can’t attend but would like to support the cause. With the academy model implemented for the first time in Türkiye\, it is aimed to open the academy to the public in addition to university education\, to organize free workshops for people with economic inadequacy\, and to provide producers with the opportunity to evaluate their products. and to create a brand in agriculture.
